The purpose of the competition is to award one scholarship for the promotion of research for the year 2027, worth €24,500.00 gross per year. Its purpose is the completion of a doctoral thesis.

Requirements

Holding the degree of Ingeniero/a de Caminos, Canales y Puertos, the Master's Degree in Civil Engineering (Caminos, Canales y Puertos) or the Master's Degree in Materials Engineering, and submitting a research project on a subject within Civil Engineering.
PhD candidates with a foreign degree similar to that of Ingeniero/a de Caminos, Canales y Puertos may also apply, provided they are presented by the lecturer of the E.T.S.I. de Caminos, Canales y Puertos who will supervise the proposed research.

Summary of the research project report
Proof that you are currently enrolled in a PhD programme
Certificate from a lecturer at the E.T.S.I. de Caminos, Canales y Puertos (UPM) attesting to your merit and the interest of the proposed topic
