MADRID (EP). Ferrovial has been selected by Anglian Water, the private company that manages water services in the East of England, to take part in a project aimed at strengthening the resilience of the water network, valued at 1.5 billion pounds (1.75 billion euros).

According to a statement issued by the company, its Construction division will be responsible for carrying out the work, in collaboration with MWH Treatment. The first task under the framework agreement is to improve coastal water quality at a cost of over 200 million pounds (240 million euros).
