Ferrovial, OHL and Sacyr are bidding to secure the contract to refurbish the Gran Canaria stadium, which has been put out to tender for 234 million

According to a statement issued on Monday by the Cabildo of Gran Canaria, the stadium’s owner, the three bids submitted in this tender are from joint ventures comprising Ferrovial (42.5 per cent), San José (42.5 per cent) and Iniciativas Canarias (15 per cent); OHL (60 per cent) and Sando (40 per cent); and Sacyr (60 per cent), Construplan (20 per cent) and Bitumex (Lopesan Group, 20 per cent).

The contract has been put out to tender for the second time with a budget of 234.8 million euros, after the first tender in August was declared void, when the budget stood at 174.7 million.
