Iberdrola is investing 100 million in redesigning the electricity network damaged by the DANA

Iberdrola has completed the plan to redesign the grid affected by the DANA on 29 October 2024, with an investment of 100 million euros, to which a further 2,000 million will be added for grids in the Valencian Community as part of a series of measures to be carried out up to 2031.

This investment was announced by Iberdrola’s chairman, Ignacio Galán, during the presentation of the results of the ‘Plan il·lumina’, a strategic project developed over the last two years to redesign, modernise and strengthen the electricity infrastructure affected by the DANA in Valencia, at an event attended by the President of the Generalitat, Juanfran Pérez Llorca.
